The Children's Center @ Southwoods provides premium quality childcare in a loving, caring, and nurturing environment to children of all abilities between the ages of six weeks through five years, with a basis of child-led learning experiences in order to enhance each child's social-emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
Certified Childcare Staff Members
All of our staff members are certified in CPR, First Aid, Recognizing Communicable Diseases, and Recognizing Child Abuse and Neglect. Each staff member is required a minimum of 20 hours annually of professional development centered around the age group they are working with. Most of our lead teachers carry degrees in Early Childhood Education, ensuring classroom lesson plans support each child's growth with intentional and purposeful activities that meet their individual needs, interests and abilities.
